What I Want to Wear...

A few lovely examples of what I would love to wear this fall. All those grey and brown earth tones.

5 Looks: Basics

I love basics. Every wardrobe needs them. You can combine basics with basically everything. But they also work well together! Maybe it looks a tiny bit boring, but I think it's perfect for everyday life.

It's time for a new 5 Looks.

5 Looks: Shorts

I admit, we do not post as often as we should or as often as we would like. What surprised me this last week was that we got more followers (Thank you so much!) while we didn't post anything.  Maybe it should be our new way of managing this little blog. Just kidding. Maybe you noticed the lack of posting Monday's Melody. Tomorrow there will be one! It is definitely time for a new post. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting.
This was never ment to be a fashion blog, but I'm finding myself posting more fashion posts. Hope you don't mind. It is finally time to wear pretty dress, the cutest skirts and the other part of your summer wardrobe. At least here it is. In every 5 Looks I post find looks I really like. In most posts I have a theme. This time 5 totally different but all beautiful-in-their-own-way-shorts.

H&M Wishlist

I was surprised to see that my last H&M Wishlist dates back to January. I thought it would be fun to do a new one. H&M is probably one of my favourite stores. Summer is finally here, so time for a summer wishlist.

Isn't this one pretty? I love how simple it is. And it's perfect for an important party.

I actually own this one. I love a pretty blue blouse in the summer.
Floral print dresses are, in my opinion, a must-have. Not that I own one. Yet.
I love this jacket and couldn't let it just hanging there in the store. Isn't it pretty?
I love basics. And blue.
I'm really into green lately. And I think that this skirt is really beautiful.

What are your favourite H&M items? And where do you love to shop?

Karin.

Ps. As far as 50 Books to read before you die is concerned, I read 1984, Pride & Prejudice and Wuthering Heigts these last couple of days. And I will post about them this week! (:

Oh, and I am finally done with school. I passed my exams and I'm very very happy with the results.
Thank you Fleur for all your support!

All Stars and White Dresses..

I just love this picture by The Satorialist.
And I really enjoy the vintage photographs he posts every now and then. The stories behind the pictures make it special.

Another post coming up tonight!

5 Looks

The weather is finally like it should be and I just finished reading The Fellowship of the Ring as the beginning of 50 books to read before you die. I'm totally in a summer mood, so I spend the whole day eating cupcakes, reading in the sun and at a friend's house. Because of my rare happy, summer mood I decided to post a 5 looks with 5 summer looks. Enjoy.

5 Looks: Stripes

I know, I know.. I'm not suppose to write anything on our blog until my exams are over. But this morning I had an exam (art) and the next one (physics) is not until friday. So, I've allowed myself to post a 5 Looks. For you who don't visit this blog often, every now and then I post 5 Looks I love and get inspiration from and I hope that you'll enjoy it too. This time: Stripes!

I love how simple this is. I'm not a huge fan of the jeans though.

Maybe it's a little too much zebra, but I think it looks very elegant :)

I always like a nice simple dress!
You won't see me wearing those shorts anytime soon! But you've got to admit, it really gets your attention. And she looks great in them.

This one is just fun. And it's a really nice sweater.

Now I'm off to study some more. Wish me luck! ;)

5 Looks.. Hats!

The last couple of days I noticed a lot of hats on my favourite fashion blogs. Normally I'm not that into hats, but here are five different, lovely looks I really do like.

Floral Print Dresses

Although they kind of remind me of 'grandmother dresses' I really like floral print dresses. I don't own one. Yet. I just love the summery feeling they have. It makes me want to go outside, sit in the sun and make smoothies. :) So I've selected 4 pretty ones to show you. Every single one is a little bit different, but I wouldn't mind throwing them in my closet for the first sunny day!
Which one do you prefer?

I'll probably go for the first one.

5 Looks: Yellow

Yellow is a colour I normally wouldn't wear. But I came across a few stunning looks with yellow clothes. Spring is almost here and a happy colour makes me want to go outside and have fun without putting my coat on. Which unfortunately isn't a good idea. Enjoy these 5 Looks!
(and click on image for source)A simple, but elegant yellow dress with a gorgeous neck-line. I wouldn't mind owning this one.

A great way to combine a simple yellow t-shirt. And there are those coloured tights again. ^^
The yellow vest makes this look a lot more interesting and fun. It's not too yellow. I also love the dress. But I always like dresses. An amazing skirt. And very bright. I love the volume and the different layers it has. The black shirt, tights and shoes make it not look too clowny or rainbowy. Very beautiful. And last, but not least. A very simple, summery outfit. It looks very comfortable and it probably is. I do like the grey with the yellow.

Maybe I have to buy myself a few yellow clothes. It will certainly bright up my day. :)

What do you think? Is yellow too bright? Or too happy? Can something be too happy?

Weardrobe 100.

Wish Wish Wish.

5 Looks: Coloured Tights

Another 5 Looks. Fleur was wearing yellow tights today, which was very pretty. But it takes some courage. It inspired me to do a 5 Looks about it. Thank you, Fleur! I don't own coloured tights, but maybe it's time to do something about that. Just have a look..By Alice By Frida By Karina

Would you wear such a look? Or is it too colourful?
