I'm quite ill. Probably the flu. That's the reason for the lack of posting the last couple of days. Fleur can't really post either, she's in Spain at the moment. Lucky her! I will be better in a few days. Until then..
The cutest babyshower idea ever. And one of the cutest blogs. A Beautiful Mess. She made a huge speech bubble with "I love Penelope" and took polaroids of the guests. It's so pretty. Just wanted to show you. Love it. <3 align="center">
Since Fleur has been busy for quite some time now and hasn't really had time to post that much, I figured I could include her in this blog without her having to post something. I'm starting a new regular post. Maybe. I love to hear what other people's inspiration come from. What do they enjoy most? What makes them happy? And I especially love to hear that from people that inspire me. Fleur and me have been friends for a couple of years now and she really inspires me to do more. We love to photograph together, blog together, share amazing and lovely things and I'll never forget the wallpainting we made.
Anyway. I asked her some questions. Questions that I would ask to anyone of you. If some one actually reads this. What inspires you? But for now:
Meet Fleur.
What is your biggest inspiration? My biggest inspiration is my boyfriend. And my lovely friends.
What kind of music gives you the most inspiration? Regina Spektor. My boyfriend playing the guitar. And Bella's Lullaby (the unofficial one, River Flows in you).
Listen to it, right now. I love it.
Is there a certain person that inspires you? Alice Ripley. She's leadsinger in Next to Normal
She really ment me. I'm very very honoured. Love you!
Are there any cities that inspire you? New York!
And a very important question, at least in my eyes...What kind of books inspire you? Twilight <3>
What movie has been the most inspirational to you? Center Stage, it's a movie about believing in your dreams and, ofcourse, dancing.
What's your favourite quote? "Liever eigenwijs dan helemaal geen zelfvertrouwen." (translated: I rather be pigheaded than have no confidence at all)
Other things that are an inspiration to you? Any last words? I’m always inspired by stories and I love to dance. My inspiration at the moment: FAME “I’m gonna live forever, I’m gonna learn how to fly. High!” Love it.
We would love to hear where you get your inspiration from! Please Mail your answers to us (TheseLovelyThings@live.nl). And does anyone know a name for this post?
A cupcake is, in my opinion, the cutest kind of food that exists! So here comes a top 5 of the most beautiful and deliciouslooking cupcakes (that I know of ^^.)
Just a tiny little something for today. I found this picture when I was searching for a photo. I took it in a museum in Copenhagen, Danmark. The whole exhibition was spread over several rooms, each room with a different colour. The combination of those empty frames and the soft pink really turned out amazing. Although I didn't shot this photo recently, I wanted to include it in 'A Thousand Reasons to Smile'. It made me smile when I saw it again.
I always liked the art of Stina Persson. Ever since one of my friends told me about her, I followed her amazing work. So I was surprised when I saw a few of my favourite artworks in a commercial on television. Replay used it in a commercial for a fragance. I love it. It's so inspiring and colourful. Just watch it!
I collected 5 looks again. This time only looks with a 'military jacket'. I love vintage-looking outfits. And I love checking out blogs with those outfits. And several lovely jackets caught my eye. Not these, but they looked like it. I don't own one, but I'd like to. You can combine them with a lot of things, although I like them the most over a lovely dress. Anyway, I think these jackets are amazing and the whole outfits are quite pretty too. Check them out. (I found all of them on Lookbook.nu, but unfortunately I lost the links.)
